figuring out the job of racehorse trainers
Even the jockey would be guided by the yorkshire racehorse trainers on these aspects and directed how best to run the horse at the event.
A race horse's life at the course is naturally entwined with many individuals with varied interests. It is the trainer who is the centre point or link for all these individuals with the horse. The trainer has to be aware of the physical as well as mental form of the horse to be able to get the best of the horse at the racing event.
Another aspect that the trainer would need to be updated about is the medicinal values and after effects that the horse would be administered. There is no doubt that medication has to be given to the horse even for its daily health as supplement of whatever natural intake is given. These medications though have some which are banned. The needs to be aware of such medicines.
There is also some permissible medication which however leaves behind a trace like that of a banned substance. The trainer would also need to be aware of such substances. The time taken by a permissible drug to be absorbed by the horse in its system and then be left off without its trace should be known to the trainer.
The trainer being the link would have to interact with the owner of the horse as well as the jockey who would finally ride the horse at the big money event. The owner would enter the horse into those events only as suggested by the trainer as well the jockey would take suggestions from the trainer on the type of running the horse would be paced though at the event.
There is no time limit that racehorse trainers can place their work time in. It involves full time dedicated work, working outdoors most times and in all sorts of weather. The trainer would also need to travel to different places as races are held not in one particular race course at all times.
